1- Today we got married. Thank you to all our family and friends for helping us get to this moment.
Today's highlights: Personalized blessings from friends and family for Sheva Brachot, the homemade chuppah made by SF, the chuppah poles my new brother-in-law made, the wedding booklet cover Deacon Yid made, all the help and wonderful wishes from our friends and family, (especially Habakkuk and Mom-in-law) and of course our rabbi.
Were things perfect? Of course not. We had to change venues, juggle a lot of schedules, and herd a lot of cats to make things happen the way we wanted. But at the end of the day, despite various tiny foibles (mostly my fault), the day went off without a hitch. We feel so very blessed. And though I know there are some in the world that wouldn't approve of our wedding, I'd like to think that all our departed relatives would be as happy for us as the ones who were here today.
2- In an attempt to move forward on blog-related things: I'm really waffling on the idea of referring to SF as "Shiksa Wife." I'm accepting any suggestions/recommendations people have for a new handle for the new Mrs. Yid.

How about MB for My Beloved?
Mazel tov again! It was really a pleasure and a privilege to be there.
My own better half suggests she likes "Mrs. Yid". I'll see if anything better suggests itself to me.
Mazel tov!
