Ah, Poland.

Polish lawmakers are trying to make Jesus the honorary King of Poland. Interestingly enough, the Church opposes it (too commercial). I guess we shouldn't be too surprised, though; after all, the Black Madonna's been the Queen since 1656. Of course this does pose some interesting questions regarding the incestuous politics of symbolic icon royalty. I guess Mary will have to be the "Queen Mother" from now on.
