Saw this interesting ditty over on Sultan Knish. Too bad Landoverbaptist beat him to it back in 2003. Their was funnier, too.
I had a similar experience writing The Onion-style fake news pieces for a college paper a number of years ago- several jokes I made and used wound up showing up on The Daily Show months later. I'm not saying I'm a comedic genius. Just that some of this humor isn't that hard.
Hmmm... come to think of it, maybe I'll post some of that stuff.
