I'll have what he's having.

You, sir, are a moron. Or maybe just really, really, stoned.

I believe that Fred Thompson has been more consistent on the issues than most of his peers. Thompson has always been strong on national security. He has spoken against sanctuary cities and has been a strong supporter for enforcing our immigration laws. The former senator from Tennessee has consistently supported a balanced budget amendment and understands the importance of cutting government waste. He also recognizes how important it is to support traditional marriage. I can't see him catering to the extreme homosexual lobby.

Are you kidding? When was the last time Thompson was even remotely involved with any political process or cause? He's been spending most of his time nursing stage bourbons on the Law and Order set. This guy's just swallowing everything Thompson's spoon-feeding him, including lip service to every pseudo-conservative cause under the sun.

Fred Thompson appears to be a man who is not too consumed with himself and who doesn't take himself too seriously. Perhaps this is why some in the media got upset with him when he said he didn't have to have the job of president. Instead, he said he cares deeply about the country -- and that's why he's running. This only underscores his reason for running for America's top job.

You know why Thompson doesn't take himself too seriously? Maybe because he knows no one else does, either.

As a successful actor, businessman, and a public servant representing the people of Tennessee, he certainly doesn't need the recognition. But still, he believes that he can do more for our country as the chief executive.

I believe Thompson can meet that challenge. That's why I think he would be a great nominee for the GOP ticket -- against any candidate the Democrats offer up.

Let me assure you, sir. Nothing would please me more. Please do get out that vote.
